Centenary Project
To celebrate its centenary and improve its facilities for generations to come, the hall has recently undergone major extension and renovation work.
Phase 1: saw the extension of the main hall, increasing the ceiling height and adding a large storage area. This enables us to create a conference room at the rear of the hall.
Phase 2: was the full refurbishment of the kitchen and the landscaping of the garden area to create a beautiful enclosed space. Both the hall and the garden have been made wheelchair accessible too.
None of these improvements would have been possible without the support of our funding partners

Current status
The Hall is registered as a Scottish Charitable Incorporated Organisation (SCIO No. SC049395) and is run by a group of volunteers for the benefit of the local and wider community.
We very much rely on the local support and contributions that we receive and we try to keep our running costs as low as possible to enable our hall to be accessible for all who wish to use it.

In 2020/2021 grant funding from: LEADER; The Levenseat Trust; The West Lothian Development Trust; and Harburn and West Calder Development Trust enabled a major extension and upgrading of the Hall facilities. The Hall may be nearly 100 years old, but it provides a modern fit-for purpose space for the enjoyment and wellbeing of our community.
